Notes: Winged Lythrum has pale purple flowers with a darker purple mid-vein with the soft texture of tissue paper. Grows naturally in wet areas on the side of ponds and streams and wet prairies, meadows, fens and marshes. Has suffered in the wild because it's difficult to distinguish from invasive Purple Loosestrife.
