Notes: Hoary Vervain's pretty floral spikes bloom from the bottom up and are a common component of the drier prairie. The seeds are a staple food for many birds and is the larval host of the Common Buckeye Butterfly. The gray-green foliage provides lovely contrast. Attractive to pollinators and is deer resistant.
