Notes: Meadowsweet is a delicate shrub species with spires of fizzy white flowers. Long bloom time from July to September will keep the pollinators coming. This native Spirea is a lovely alternative to non-native Japanese Spirea that will also feed several types of native bees and serve as a food and host plant for several other insects. Birds use the plant for food and songbirds will use it for nesting.
