Notes: Hardy native rose. Forms a low shrub with fragrant, pink-white summer blossoms. The foliage turns orange-red in autumn and holds its bright red rose hips into winter. Birds will eat the hips. Old above ground growth dies back after a few years but is followed by new growth. Will spread by rhizomes once established so situate easily. Extremely drought resistance.
