Notes: Named after its thin, "whorled" leaves, this milkweed blooms July to September, which is later than other milkweeds. The flowers are white to greenish-white. Attracts many species of bees and butterflies plus many other pollinators. Host for monarch butterfly larvae. Will spread like other milkweeds.
