Notes: A tall species, growing naturally in wet areas. Forms dense, leafy bush with large rosy-pink heads of long lasting, vanilla-scented flowers in mid to late summer. Most importantly the blooms attract tons of butterflies and is a larval host plant for the endangered Monarch Butterfly. Tolerates average to moist soil. Will not take over like Common Milkweed.
