Notes: The large flower varies in color from nearly white to deep pink-purple with a lovely, delicate fragrance. Numerous native pollinators will benefit during its long bloom time. Monarch butterflies lay their eggs exclusively on Milkweed plants, making them the sole food source for their larvae. Common Milkweed numbers have been in dramatic decline in recent years. Easy and quick to establish, even small urban pockets of Common Milkweed can provide important Monarch butterfly habitat.
