Notes: Grows actively in spring and fall when soil temperatures are cool. Tolerates from full to part sun, but prefers moist soil. Attractive, nodding florets off to one side of the stalk. Grows in moist prairies and marches. A great addition to rain gardens, bioswales, or wetland. Clump forming and provides habitat for birds.
