Notes: This warm season grass grows very large, over six feet tall in most situations and two to three feet wide. Give it a lot of space! It is a nice accent grass with fall color in gold and pinks. Big Bluestem is the host to many insects including several butterflies. Is an extremely important component of a native prairie ecosystem.
