Notes: Fat Albert is a stunning, rich silver-blue backdrop tree with a dense, stiff form around a central leader. Naturally straight leader is extremely cold and draught tolerant. Slow growing, reaching 15 ft in 10 yrs and 40 ft in several decades. Susceptible to needle cast disease, so it is best not to plant by other blue spruces.
